So definitively ended and,
as needed, undefended
Without amicable illusions
Just destructively defusioned
Regardless of desires
In spite of heart-filled fires
I stand and weep alone
With nothing ever won
And if instead I wait and wait for defence
The waiting kills faster than what is defended against
And so I must, despite all living, die
And eternally must never know the reason why

Obvious - Natalie
I do not see
the necessity
I do not hear
with cloned ears
I cannot move
just for you to approve
I stand because
it is where I was
the necessity
I do not hear
with cloned ears
I cannot move
just for you to approve
I stand because
it is where I was
New Sight - Natalie
Eleusian majesties forever are unwelcome in my bower
Despite demands all gifts they bring turn rotten, mad or dour
Such spiteful slivers slay my restive heart's bright air
Their cruel deceits no more shall feed my soul's long-dark despair
Despite demands all gifts they bring turn rotten, mad or dour
Such spiteful slivers slay my restive heart's bright air
Their cruel deceits no more shall feed my soul's long-dark despair
I Will Wait - Natalie
I wait for a silken ether of blue
To surround my senses and enshroud my fears
Somnolently still I stand before you
Consumed, yet soliciting your temperate ears
The reason for existence and the meaning of this pain--
We grow in no essential grace that has not drowned in rain
To surround my senses and enshroud my fears
Somnolently still I stand before you
Consumed, yet soliciting your temperate ears
The reason for existence and the meaning of this pain--
We grow in no essential grace that has not drowned in rain
Mirage - Nadia
I wade through blood red crocuses, past fleeting hills
I must and will reach the shore that haunts my memory still
Haggard trees which rise in sentinality
Wildly crashing boughs strain my tenacity
Cloying vines twist nets of blight
Intrepid gray against the wintering sky
Crawling with scorpions covered in red fungi
Stark and strange they shout, She must die!
And now the earth rises under me
leading me on to eternity
I run for I can just, just see
The fading edge of beloved shore
I must and will reach the shore that haunts my memory still
Haggard trees which rise in sentinality
Wildly crashing boughs strain my tenacity
Cloying vines twist nets of blight
Intrepid gray against the wintering sky
Crawling with scorpions covered in red fungi
Stark and strange they shout, She must die!

The fading edge of beloved shore
Amazon Queen - Nadia
Myriad assassins delineate war and range outside my view
Demanding incessant allegiance to what I must not, cannot do
Diminishing illimitable defenses exhausted beyond spite
Antianara! Astound determinations, drain and crush all might!
Demanding incessant allegiance to what I must not, cannot do
Diminishing illimitable defenses exhausted beyond spite
Antianara! Astound determinations, drain and crush all might!
My conquistador - Nadia
Such is the sadness of my conquistador
Who lives abroad forevermore
Disdains my mad and weakened cries
And still demands that I must die
Who lives abroad forevermore
Disdains my mad and weakened cries
And still demands that I must die

Anonymous Queen Lost - Natalie
Anonymous I grew
Andromeda in waiting
with crystal blues and shimmering dances
the breath of Eden promising
garden parties by tremulous streams
feasting on dark coals of heart's desire
Now joy simmers into molten sorrow
as gnarled hands tear my veil of anonymity
my audience-my captor
drown all remembrances into
peaceful dreams and forgotten purpose
And when down a miraged road
of fork-tongued despair
new travelers
too late find
a transient queen of outcasts
overgrown with leaden vines
glabrous with shimmering souls
--too new -- they too will fall

All That is Gold Does Not Glitter - Tolkien
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
JRR Tolkien
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

Not marble nor the guilded monuments - Shakespeare
Not marble nor the gilded monuments
Of princes shall outlive this powerful rhyme;
But you shall shine more bright in these contents
Than unswept stone, besmear'd with sluttish time.
When wasteful war shall statues overturn,
And broils root out the work of masonry,
Nor Mars his sword nor war's quick fire shall burn
The living record of your memory.
'Gainst death and all-oblivious enmity
Shall you pace forth; your praise shall still find room,
Even in the eyes of all posterity
That wear this world out to the ending doom.
So, till the judgment that yourself arise,
You live in this, and dwell in lovers' eyes.
